We will ensure these tools are targetted to help you make more effective decisions and support engagement with your stakeholders. We support you to use these tools to develop risk reduction programs.

Hala leads Pollenter's practice, leveraging 15+ years of strategic leadership in public service and NGOs. A specialist in place-based resilience and disaster risk reduction, she has driven impactful programs globally.

Hala's visionary approach translates complex issues into practical solutions, building consensus and mobilises diverse stakeholders. Her genuine, accessible style empowers collective action and achieves tangible results.

Maree Abood GAICD

Head of Strategy and Planning

Maree has 22+ years of impactful senior and executive leadership in public service with expertise in water, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, critical infrastructure and resilience strategy, planning and policy. Maree was awarded the Australian Water Association’s 2023 NSW Legend of Water.

She is a strong advocate for evidence informed decision-making and applying multi and interdisciplinary approaches to complex systems for best systemic social, economic and environmental outcomes. She is inspired by the opportunities to create positive impact through innovation, collaboration and creating value as an authentic leader.
